Chairman of the State Duma visited Beijing Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

The Chairman of the State Duma learned more about the best practices of city management, architectural and economic solutions: the ways how environmental issues and landscaping are being resolved in a 22 million metropolis, new technologies and innovations are being introduced, and production growth is being achieved.

On November 21–23, Vyacheslav Volodin and the delegation of the State Duma are paying an official visit to the People’s Republic of China. They are in Beijing and they will also visit Nanjing. The day before, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin met with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji. They discussed issues of development of inter-parliamentary relations between Russia and China, first of all, issues of providing legislative support to the decisions adopted by Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. Vyacheslav Volodin and members of the State Duma also laid flowers at the Monument to the People's Heroes and visited the Museum of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing.
